Industrieweg
Reflecting on such a strange year, finding this beautiful industrial space in April saved me from climbing up the walls… I was there most mornings at 6 am.
About the birth of the Industrieweg series, Matt says:
“We were on the way to get some astroturf for our new garden, my partner Su gave me the wrong directions to what turned out to be exactly the right place! For the next year during lockdown, I headed to Industrieweg to photograph the colourful warehouses in the early or late afternoon light, which in turn I found very therapeutic.
Although deserted because of lockdown, the light and the buildings colours made me feel alive, during what was, a very lonely time.”
